From a kitchen table to Freedom Boulevard
Freedom Credit Union opened in 1956 as the credit union for Provo School District teachers and employees — run, for years, from the president’s kitchen table. From there we moved into a rented office a couple of blocks north, and in the late 1980s we built the office we are in today on Freedom Boulevard. We have remodeled it twice since, most recently in 2024.
More than 4,000 members bank with us across two branches. The Provo office handles the full range of accounts and lending, and our team serves members in English and Spanish.
