Online Payments
There are four ways to make a payment on your Freedom Credit Union loan. The first three are free.
Transfer from Your Freedom Account No fee
Already have a savings or checking account with us? Log in to online banking or the mobile app and transfer your payment straight to your loan. There is nothing to set up and no fee.
Pay from Another Financial Institution Through Online Banking No fee
Log in to online banking and link an account you hold at another bank or credit union, then transfer your payment from it. Linking a new external account takes about 4 days to verify before it is ready to use, so please set it up well ahead of your due date.
Pay by Phone No fee
Call us at 801.375.2120 during business hours and we can take your payment over the phone.
Prefer not to think about it each month? Set up recurring automatic payments at no fee by completing our Automatic Payment Authorization form and returning it to the credit union.
Pay with a Debit Card $5.95 fee
Debit card payments are processed by ProPay, a trusted third-party service provider. ProPay charges a convenience fee of $5.95 per debit card transaction. Freedom Credit Union does not retain any part of this fee. Credit card payments are not accepted.
ProPay also accepts eCheck payments for a $3 fee per transaction. The same payment made through Freedom online banking — either of the first two options above — is free.
- Payments can only be made to a Freedom Credit Union Consumer Loan, Mortgage, or Home Equity Loan.
- Payments made outside business hours, on weekends, or holidays will be effective the next business day.
- Payments are effective only after the transaction has been validated.
- Disputed transactions will result in payment reversal from your loan and may incur additional fees (refer to your loan agreement for details).
- Please retain a copy of the receipt page or email as proof of your approved transaction.

Save time and money with Bill Pay, allowing you to pay almost anyone with one-time or recurring payments. Say goodbye to stamps, checks, and trips to the post office. Access Bill Pay at your convenience from your computer or through our Mobile App.
